I’m still catching up, so I don’t know if someone already asked this in a later episode, but during this episode, you discussed what it possibly could have been that Melian taught the dwarves so that they asked no other reward for building Menegroth.
Since she is associated with music and nightingales, I wondered if she could have taught the dwarves to sing. As we see in The Hobbit, music and songs are an important part of their culture.
This was just a thought, so I’m curious to hear what your thoughts are about this.
