Katie’s Recommended Packing List!
- Portable power banks and chargers
- A reusable water bottle
- Laptop if you want to be plugged in as well to the online stuff
- Snacks
- Space in case you’re bringing things home from it
- Your copy of WWLMe
- Anything you want to get signed by someone who’s going to be there
- I keep a pack of cards and games that I bring with me to events
- Something to do with your hands if you find you need that while listening to talks
- I keep a portable fan on me at all times (I take it to Cons too)
- Tissues
- Hand sanitizer
- Throat lozenges if you’re going to be talking a lot
- Cash just in case
- A tote bag to help you carry things if you need it
- A travel mug if you like coffee or tea to have with you
- Makeup wipes if you’re wearing makeup during the event
- A sweatshirt to keep on you in case you get cold in air conditioning
- Tolkien-related apparel
- Any needed medications (or Ibuprofen/Advil/Tylenol)
- Chargers for electronics
- Costume or garb (we don’t have a dedicated event, but you’re welcome to wear your favorite Middle-earth related garb if you’d like!)
