As well as the in-person attendance, the Moot will be running online all weekend too!
We will have two Zoom links throughout the Moot: Zoom Strand A and Zoom Strand B. You’ll be able to find these links in your email shortly before the weekend starts, as well as in our Key Links channel in our Discord server.
For talks with a single presentation in that timeslot, we’ll be using Zoom Strand A. Hangouts, games, and activities for online folks will be in our Discord server voice channels (kind of like Zoom breakout rooms but embedded in the Discord server), which will be open all weekend long.
This year, our online hub for the Moot will be on a dedicated Discord server. Aside from talks, events, and activities specifically taking place on Zoom, anything online will be taking place in the Discord server.
Both in-person and online folks will be able to chat in the various channels (and we encourage our in-person folks to visit those as they can throughout the weekend—it’s fun to see both the in-person and online folks connect!), we will have voice channels/breakout rooms available 24/7 throughout the weekend that you can use (The Fireside and The Parlor), and we will make sure to announce everything (including schedule changes and Zoom links), post schedules and other important information, and connect with our remote presenters there as well.
More instructions and all the required links will be provided to attendees via email in the week leading up to the event. If you think you have missed or not received the email, please contact us at events@theprancingponypodcast.com.
